Haha, I see you've stumbled upon TheRiddlerSpeaks. That blog is great, my favorite actually. I've been checking it everyday since he started. 
Sadly, he hasn't updated in about a month. 
And about the hench girl thing...it makes sense to me. That Riddler is also based on the comic book version and from what I've seen he's only interested in women of his rank. He flirted with Harley Quinn, made out with Catwoman and went out with Poison Ivy for a bit before breaking up. The only time I've seen him with someone "normal" was when he wasn't the Riddler but a Detective. And that was only one date with Angela.
